Wolf Vanwymeersch is a Belgian musician with a lot of experience already in the music industry. He is formally known as bandmember of the Elefants and The Van Jets. His first solo album will be released on May 6th, followed up with shows in Belgium and The Netherlands. His own roots lay in electric guitar music (Waldorf, The Van Jets, Raketkanon and Ian Clement), but on his solo album ‘The Early Years’ Wolf showcases his own version of singer-songwriter music. During the recording of the record, he tried to ignore the electric guitar as much as possible and learned to play the acoustic guitar without a plectrum to create a combination of acoustic guitar and electronic sounds.
